Your role

We're seeking a Product Designer for our Product Design team. As Product Designer, you will be crucial in you will partner with cross-functional teams who are charged with revolutionizing how people shop, pay and bank

Drawing on your proficiency in product design and creating products with strong user centricity, you will be responsible for striking a balance between having a strong desire to understand user behavior and business performance and having a love for developing highly functional and emotionally meaningful experiences to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide. 

With a proven track record of designing successful user experiences,  you will collaborate with a diverse ecosystem of talented engineers, designers, analysts, product experts, and other team members to leverage system design, create technical solutions, dive deep into complex problems} and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your responsibilities

  • Translate open ended, conceptual ideas into tangible product features
  • Lead end-to-end design processes, from initial research to polished UI/UX designs, ensuring top-tier execution.
  • Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
  • Give and take feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality output
  • Drive a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers, creative designers and content strategists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch
  • Represent design to a broader product team and other leaders, articulating the rationale behind the design decisions

Your expertise

  • 3+ years of experience designing and shipping features with an end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms.
  • 3+ years of interaction design experience with knowledge to define how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this product will scale. Use appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work.
  • 3+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function.
  • 3+ years of strategic product thinking with experience in developing product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the company.
