Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the central Design org, supporting design needs across the business.
- Design elegant UX for complex product flows — including operations tools, automation interfaces, and customer portals.
- Lead design decisions for their surfaces, collaborating closely with PMs and engineers.
- Work directly with accountants and internal users to understand workflows and pain points.
- Regularly use AI tools to prototype, test, and explore ideas.
- Participate in and lead design reviews.
- Collaborate with user researchers to validate concepts and improve usability.
- Extend and maintain design system components in Figma.
Required Hard Skills
- Deep experience with UX for complex, multi-surface SaaS products (mobile, desktop, extensions).
- Proven track record designing tools for both internal ops users and external customers.
- At least 5 years of experience, including 2-3 years in B2B or internal Ops design.
- High proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and interaction design.
- Strong comfort using AI design tooling to speed up or improve workflows (e.g., prototyping, flows, copy).
- Experience collaborating across product, engineering, and research teams.
Required Soft Skills
- Systems thinking and ability to design across complex workflows.
- Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional partners.
- Comfortable making design decisions while incorporating feedback and research.
- Attention to craft and detail, even in dense operational or backend UI.
- Strategic thinker with practical decision-making and product intuition.
Nice-to-Have Skills / Experience
- Familiarity with accounting, finance, or internal process-heavy tools.
- Experience designing for Chrome extensions.
- Prior experience improving workflows via automation or AI.
- Contributions to a central design system or company-wide UX standards.
Degree
- HCI, Design, UX, Product Design — or equivalent experience.
