Why you should apply:

This is a unique opportunity to help launch and iterate on a 0 - 1 self-serve TV advertising product within Tatari. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to solve unique problems in programmatic and direct TV advertising, defining the user experience within the Tatari self-serve platform as well as professional buying and measurement tools.

What you’ll do:

  • Let empathy be a guiding principle from the starting discovery phase of the project, through to finished deliverables, creating usable/focused designs representing an innovative perspective and application of best practices.
  • Lead the product design process in its discovery phase and facilitate design thinking exercises, brainstorms, and workshops. Inform product ideas by conducting user interviews, usability tests, and other UX research methods.
  • Collaborate heavily with Design and Product Leadership to communicate design ideas at the appropriate level of fidelity with engineering and internal stakeholders.
  • Rationalize UX solutions with data, improve designs through user feedback, and thoughtfully question the status quo.
  • Understand technical functionality and constraints and iterate to meaningful solutions within those constraints.
  • Influence, expand, and improve the Tatari Design culture by providing design frameworks, leading workshops, and co-owning design operations.

Who you are:

  • 8+ years of experience designing digital products and user interfaces.
  • Demonstrates deep critical thinking, clear communication, and embraces collaboration and knows how to both deliver and receive feedback.
  • Experienced mentor and coach who is excited about up-leveling other product design team members through one on one coaching and leading by example. 
  • Ability to convert extremely complex, raw information and translate it to be digestible in an intuitive interface (bonus points if you have experience with data visualization, B2B).
  • Extensive experience conducting ux research, sharing insights to stakeholders, and applying user feedback to the Product Design lifecycle.
  • Expert level design execution skills, including interface, interaction, visual design.
  • Strict attention to detail in terms of layout and a strong sense of hierarchy.
  • Keen sense of empathy and user-centered design.
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma as a design tool, and extremely competent at rapid prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.
  • Curious about new tools and technologies and drive experiences to be seamless, modern, and innovative.

Application Requirements:

  • UX/Product design portfolio or case studies (minimum of 2) demonstrating unique perspective and contribution to products that have shipped, with successful outcomes.
  • A resume that demonstrates the skills and expertise listed above.
