Fam is India's first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 million+ youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

Founded in 2019 by IIT Roorkee alumni, Fam is backed by some of the most respected investors around the world like Elevation Capital, Y-Combinator, Peak XV (Sequoia Capital) India, Venture Highway, Global Founder’s Capital and the likes of Kunal Shah, Amrish Rao as angel investors.

Design is not just an element of our product; it’s the heart and soul. When your audience is GenZ, every pixel, interaction, and experience must be crafted with care and precision. That’s why we need a top-tier Product Designer who lives and breathes design. Someone who understands that beauty and usability are not mutually exclusive, and who has a proven track record of bringing successful consumer applications to life in a tech-driven environment.

On the Job

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams
• Problem-Solving: Approach challenges from first principles and love digging into user research
• Get hands dirty: Working on designing the product hands on
• Design Innovation: Strategize, develop, and expand Fam’s visual design systems and pattern libraries
• GenZ: If you’re reading this, share two trending social media memes with us during interview
• Design obsession: Balance functionality with aesthetics, and always push the envelope
• Design Geek: Stay ahead of the curve on design trends, helping us elevate Fam’s design game

Must-haves (Min. qualifications)

• Expertise: 3+ years in crafting B2C mobile app designs
• Team Player: Experience working with a team of 4+ product designers
• End-to-End Ownership: From research to launch, you’ve done it all
• Portfolio: Strong UI/UX and visual and interaction design showcase
• Vibe: A Gen Z mindset, always in sync with the latest trends
• And obviously knows how to use Figma

Good to have

• Industry Know-How: Experience in B2C fintech or payments
• Creative Edge: Skills in animation and motion design
• Personal Branding: Your own blog, website, or online portfolio
• Mentoring: Experience with guiding junior product designers
