About this Role
Arkestro is aiming to streamline highly complex processes to deliver better user experiences. To continue improving towards these goals we are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our team. You will partner with the Product team to translate feature requirements; you will partner with the Engineering team to bring your designs to life. You will be responsible for managing design changes across our platform, establishing best patterns for each project, and maintaining documentation for all design projects - all with the intention of building a world-class platform and providing an exceptional experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- As a Product Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other members of the Product team to create wireframes and comps based on user needs
- Translate complex user needs into wireframes and clickable prototypes
- Provide support on all design deliverables to ensure continuity across the platform
- Maintain and contribute to the design system
- Validate design choices via user testing methods
- Communicating directly with users to obtain feedback on current and future designs
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience working on an agile software development team
- Strong knowledge of Figma
- Understanding of browser display differences and platform behaviors
- Ability to translate complex interactions into easily-comprehensible designs
- Functional understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborative mindset with a bias towards decisive action
- Entrepreneurial spirit that can dig in to remove blockers and establish best practices and methods
Pay Range
$150,000—$165,000 USD
