About Atlas

Atlas is the concierge charge card built for those who expect more - unlocking access to world-class dining, luxury travel, and lifestyle experiences, while making spending seamless.

Our members are discerning, high-spending individuals and companies who rely on Atlas for insider access, curated service, and unmatched reliability.

In just over a year, we’ve organically scaled to hundreds of millions in spend volume, growing double digits month over month. Backed by Y Combinator, Valar Ventures (Peter Thiel), Eric Schmidt, Elad Gill, and other leading fintech and consumer investors, Atlas is building the modern alternative to Amex Centurion, with a high-margin, high-growth model and a clear path to over $1B in spend volume.

Our team is lean, senior, and fast-moving, with experience across Apple, Robinhood, Instacart, and DoorDash.

The Role

We’re hiring a Product Designer to help build the internal tools that power Atlas. These tools support our concierge, dining operations, support, and credit teams and are the epicenter to delivering the seamless, high-touch experience our members expect.

This role is ideal for a designer who loves turning complex operational workflows into clear, intuitive product experiences. You’ll work directly with our Lead Product Designer, who drives discovery, problem definition, and system-level direction—and work collaboratively to translate that high-level design into polished, production-ready UX and UI.

You’ll be responsible for the detailed execution of internal-facing features: building flows, designing interfaces, mapping edge cases, and ensuring everything is cohesive, thoughtful, and ready for engineering. You’ll have ownership and autonomy in the execution layer while collaborating closely at key moments of exploration and refinement. This is a hybrid role based in our NYC (West Village) office, with an expectation of at 2-3 days per week onsite, with occasional travel to SF, where our engineering team is based.

What You’ll Do
  • Work closely with the Lead Product Designer to translate high-level system design and problem framing into complete user flows and UI.

  • Design end-to-end experiences for internal tools—collaborating on exploration, and executing polished, engineering-ready interfaces.

  • Refine and expand early concepts into clear, usable workflows that support real operational needs.

  • Handle the details that make internal tools resilient: error states, data states, edge cases, and exceptions.

  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are scoped, documented, and feasible.

  • Partner with Ops, Concierge, and Support to understand workflows and incorporate real-world constraints.

  • Contribute to the internal design system and maintain consistency across surfaces.

  • Iterate quickly, balancing speed and craft in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage our design system and library as it grows.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of product design experience with strong UX and UI execution.

  • New York-based, able to come into our West Village office 2-3 days per week.

  • Experience designing complex, multi-step workflows or internal tools is a strong plus.

  • Ability to take direction and work independently on detailed execution.

  • Strong interaction design skills and comfort designing for operational users.

  • Fast, pragmatic approach to iteration—comfortable working with evolving requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain decisions clearly to both ops and engineering partners.

  • Proficiency in Figma, and experience working with component libraries, design systems and auto-layout.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates clear problem-solving, solid execution, and shipped product work.

  • Previous experience working at a startup.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in fintech, operations tooling, or admin interfaces.

  • Familiarity with data-heavy or stateful systems.

  • Interest in collaborating within a design-led environment.

Why Join Us
  • We offer a competitive salary range of $124,000-$153,000 and a robust total compensation package, with the potential for equity and bonuses.

  • Join a high-growth fintech redefining lifestyle and payments for the most discerning customers on the planet.

  • Work with a small, elite team that’s built products like the iPhone and moves fast with a focus on performance and precision.

  • Be part of a culture that rewards autonomy, encourages innovation, and treats its employees with the same level of care we provide our members.

  • Operate in a culture that rewards results with real ownership and the chance to build things that materially impact our members' daily lives.

  • Full Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.

  • 401k Plan.

  • Unlimited Time Off.

  • Hybrid environment with flexibility when needed.

  • Access to Atlas perks and concierge services included.
