Job Description

Behind every great product is accurate data, and you make sure it’s always right!

Do you enjoy making sure product data is accurate down to the smallest detail? As a Product Data Specialist, you ensure product information is correct, complete and consistent and flows smoothly to our systems, customers and other parties across the supply chain. Based on-site in Dordrecht, you will work within a team that is building towards a data organisation where ownership and data quality are central.

Reach your full potential as a Product Data Specialist

As a Product Data Specialist, you are responsible for the day-to-day creation, maintenance and quality control of product data within our Product Data Management environment. You safeguard data quality throughout the product lifecycle and ensure changes remain fully traceable. In doing so, you work closely with Purchase, Sales, Logistics and suppliers.

  • Create and maintain product records in the PDM tool according to data quality standards
  • Process product data through GS1 synchronisation, manual supplier input and supplier-provided PDF and Excel files
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between GS1 data and internally captured or extracted information
  • Maintain and declare international goods classifications, including HS, GN and TARIC codes
  • Maintain product data required for PPWR and EUDR compliance and follow up on missing information
  • Process product updates and end-of-life or sunset requests from suppliers or internal stakeholders
  • Perform data quality checks covering mandatory fields, formats and duplicate detection
  • Log changes carefully to ensure product data remains traceable from end to end

Qualifications

This is you

You:

  • Have working experience with PDM, PIM or ERP systems for maintaining structured product data
  • Have experience declaring international goods classifications, including HS, GN and TARIC codes
  • Can process and validate large volumes of product data accurately
  • Have an affinity with data quality and process improvement
  • Are fluent in English. Proficiency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
