The Role

Description:


Digitain is looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented professional Product & Technical Compliance Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term compliance strategies and roadmaps for product certification and market entry, ensuring adherence to local regulatory standards and company objectives
  • Lead and mentor the compliance team, including specialists, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and regulatory changes
  • Coordinate and manage product audits, technical compliance gap assessments, and certification processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely execution and compliance
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, formulate deliverables for product development, technical, legal, and operations teams to integrate compliance requirements into game design and development, ensuring alignment with company strategy
  • Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable technical specifications for developers and engineers, ensuring compliance at all stages of product development
  • Monitor global gaming regulations and industry trends, providing strategic insights to update internal compliance policies and procedures, and ensuring the organization remains proactive in compliance
  • Proactively identify compliance risks, propose mitigation strategies, and lead the implementation of compliant technical solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Lead ongoing audits and reviews of technical and product compliance, ensuring continued adherence to regulatory requirements and identifying areas for improvement
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of compliance processes, risks, and any regulatory changes that may impact product launches or market entries
  • Lead change management efforts within the organization to ensure smooth adaptation to new or evolving regulations and compliance obligations
  • Foster a culture of compliance by providing training and ongoing support to internal teams, enhancing awareness and understanding of regulatory obligations

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the iGaming industry, with a proven track record in managing product and technical compliance across multiple regulated markets
  • Experience of navigating complex regulatory frameworks and managing compliance processes in multiple jurisdictions, particularly in the iGaming sector
  • Deep knowledge of global gaming regulations, including player protection, data privacy laws, and technical compliance standards
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in leading teams, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and managing multiple high-priority tasks and tight deadlines
  • Expertise in translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable instructions for product, technical, and engineering teams
  • Proven experience in Change Management, including assessing compliance impacts of regulatory changes and implementing effective strategies within the organization
  • Ability to engage with regulatory bodies, prepare comprehensive compliance reports, and address technical compliance matters across jurisdictions
  • Highly analytical with the ability to assess regulatory frameworks, identify compliance risks, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex regulatory information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Multi-product knowledge (e.g., Sportsbook, Live Casino, Casino Games) and a deep understanding of how different products interact with regulatory requirements and compliance standards
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain compliance across multiple products, markets, and regulatory environments
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must
