Position Overview:
As a Product Analyst Senior at Freddie Mac, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that advance our mission of making homeownership more accessible and sustainable. In this dynamic position, you will act as a vital link between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our data applications and systems maintain the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and security.
Working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will utilize your expertise in business analysis, data analytics, and Agile methodologies to support key initiatives across the organization. Your contributions will directly impact Freddie Mac's ability to deliver innovative housing finance solutions through comprehensive requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and process improvement.

Your Impact:
In this role, you will focus on two primary areas:
Business Analysis
- Analyze new products and enhancements, assessing impacts on existing systems and implementing necessary operational changes.
- Define and review business requirements to capture customer needs and guide change initiatives, facilitating the resolution of obstacles to drive projects forward.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and test cases, supporting the execution and documentation of user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Formulate long-term strategies for process and technology improvements.
Business & Operations Support
- Provide production support, including on-call troubleshooting for critical application issues, logging defects, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring controlled deployments.
- Support risk controls, audits, and compliance activities, ensuring data integrity and operational resilience.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience as a business or product analyst, with proficiency in SQL and familiarity with databases (DB2, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Agile/Modern delivery methodologies; Scrum/Agile certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python is advantageous.
- Familiarity with metadata tools (e.g., Collibra).

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
