Procurement Specialist

Nightwing is seeking to hire a Procurement Specialist to join our supply chain team. The program requires a candidate that can support a broad range of fast paced, quick reaction purchases and material and subcontract requirements. This role will serve as a liaison with the vendors, supply chain and the customer.

** Clearance Requirement : TS/SCI with Poly **

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Create and execute procurements as part of a supply chain team

- Maintain accurate records of all procurements, receipts and invoicing

- Enter data into centralized database for purchase orders for logistics and financial tracking

- Reconcile all credit card transactions and balance against database

- Communicate directly with vendors and customers to ensure desired items are acquired

- Negotiate pricing with vendors

- Maintain and monitor monthly recurring costs

- Inventory and restock office supplies

Required skills:

- Strong communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping

- Ability to work independently and support supply chain team members

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience

- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active security clearance (TS/SCI with Poly)

Desired skills:

- Experience with purchasing, supply chain, customer service and vendor relations

- Experience working in databases to enter data and make queries and generate reports

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Active and transferable Active U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
