In this role, you will be trusted to ensure purchase requisitions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies. Your work directly supports business operations, financial integrity, and procurement effectiveness across Verisk.
You will partner with colleagues across procurement, finance, and the business, helping them navigate processes and resolve issues while maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance.
The role offers a clear pathway into Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, and Shared Services, supporting your long-term growth within Verisk.
Your work will ensure purchasing activities are accurate, compliant, and efficient. By maintaining strong process discipline and data integrity, you will help safeguard financial controls and enable teams across the business to operate with confidence.
Responsibilities- Review and process purchase requisitions accurately and within agreed service levels, ensuring all supplier, pricing, and accounting information is correct.
- Ensure requisitions are complete, compliant with procurement policies, and routed through the correct approval process.
- Resolve basic issues, follow up on missing information, and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements, escalating non-compliant or unusual requests when needed.
- Provide guidance to employees on requisition processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and business teams to resolve issues and support smooth processing.
- Identify recurring issues, contribute to process improvements, and support training, system, and process updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in procurement.
- Previous experience in international corporate environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Comfort working with structured processes and systems.
- German language will be an asset.
