Job Summary: The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and expediting materials, equipment, and services required for project execution, ensuring timely delivery at competitive cost in line with project specifications and procurement procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders for project materials/services. Source and obtain competitive quotations from approved vendors and subcontractors. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery aligned with the project schedule. Maintain procurement records, vendor files, and purchase order tracking logs. Coordinate with QC/warehouse to verify material receipt against POs and specifications. Liaise with planning and site teams to align procurement with material requirement dates. Support vendor evaluation and maintain the approved vendor list. Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and project requirements. Support cost tracking and reporting for procured materials/services. Resolve delivery discrepancies, damages, and supplier non-conformances. Support customs/import documentation coordination as required.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing on EPC or industrial construction projects.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
