Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from identifying material needs to supplier selection, contract negotiations, and order fulfillment.

· Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring optimal cost savings, product quality, and supply chain reliability.

· Lead procurement efforts for key categories including construction materials, plumbing, electrical supplies, safety products, and tools, managing both local and international suppliers.

· Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed decisions about pricing, product quality, and availability.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with business needs

· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost-effectiveness, delivery timelines, and compliance with regulations.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favorable conditions for the company while maintaining strong relationships.

· Monitor supplier performance regularly, ensuring they meet quality standards, delivery timelines, and cost requirements.

· Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of supplier performance, including quality control, risk management, and performance audits.

· Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly to avoid supply chain disruptions.

· Oversee and manage the import and export of materials, ensuring compliance with international regulations, tariffs, and customs processes.

· Coordinate with logistics and customs teams to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials across borders.

· Ensure that all materials procured are accurately documented and tracked through the import/export process.

· Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring that spending is within approved limits and that procurement strategies lead to cost savings.

· Identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining product quality and supplier reliability.

· Analyze procurement data and reporting to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in procurement processes, including health and safety, environmental, and ethical standards.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance requirements, including tariffs and import/export restrictions.

· Provide regular procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance, and market trends.

· Conduct procurement market analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.

· Prepare and maintain procurement-related documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.

· Lead, mentor, and manage a team of procurement specialists, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to meet departmental goals.

· Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment focused on continuous improvement



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management, with at least 2 years in a similar role in construction materials, industrial products, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing procurement of diverse product categories (tiles & sanitary ware, paints, tools, safety products, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of international procurement processes, import/export logistics, and customs compliance.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid UAE Driving License
