Job Purpose & Scope
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead and manage procurement activities in alignment with Group policies. The role is responsible for driving strategic sourcing, ensuring reliable supply, and leveraging information system management—while upholding Safety, Health, Environment (SHE) and quality standards—to enhance business competitiveness and efficiency.
Key Result Areas
- Ensure all procurement activities are transparent, compliant with Group policy, and meet statutory requirements.
- Lead, strategize, and manage departmental functions while influencing stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Drive value creation and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee contracts and vendor management to maximize value and safeguard business interests.
- Support and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Deliver high-quality and timely periodic reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly review and update procurement processes to align with Group policies and statutory requirements.
- Challenge stakeholders to distinguish between essential and desirable needs to optimize benefits.
- Identify improvement areas, implement corrective actions, and ensure accountability.
- Leverage Group synergies to maximize competitive advantage.
- Conduct thorough analysis to recommend strategies, evaluate implications, and support decision-making.
- Manage contracts and risks to ensure supply security and minimize exposure.
- Lead and contribute to regional and local cross-functional projects.
- Maintain transparent, professional, and productive relationships with vendors.
- Coach, support, and motivate subordinates while monitoring their performance.
- Ensure procurement information systems are well-maintained and updated.
Professional Skills & Personal Competencies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in procurement (Materials and Engineering/Projects).
- Proven expertise in contract and bidding management.
- Solid background in supplier management and strategic negotiation.
- At least 3 years’ managerial experience.
