A Day in the Life:As Procurement Manager, you'll own and drive the regional procurement game plan, acting as the go-to partner for key stakeholders across the business. You'll stay ahead of the market, build category expertise, and execute bold sourcing strategies that keep the business fueled for growth. From managing direct spend categories end-to-end to securing supply through strong supplier partnerships and proactive risk management, you'll ensure the engine never slows down.
You'll continuously optimize the supply chain, evaluate raw material and landed costs, and leverage data-driven category insights to forecast demand with precision. Most importantly, you'll champion high-impact value creation and productivity initiatives, aggressively reducing risk, unlocking savings, and delivering the competitive edge needed to win in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
- Ensure a reliable, long-term supply of materials to support business and category growth in the region by delivering on time in full, and to required quality standards, minimizing disruption and enabling consistent operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize total finish goods model cost of goods, support the tender process i.e.: request for quotation to ensure we continue to focus on driving best landed cost. Cost negotiation and management with bottlers, copackers, as well as package and ingredients supplier.
- Supplier management and project management, tracking obligations by supplier, contract and supplier performance, liaison with Legal and business to mitigate the risk and compliance within local requirement.
- Market and category analysis, price drivers, capacity, weather, acquisitions etc. in either packaging, ingredient.
- Validate local market price and analysis
- Continuously improve supplier capabilities, innovations based on project management tracking, on time delivery for new product development in market.
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of --Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or a related field preferred
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in packaging, ingredient and copacking procurement
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 7-9 years of experience in Fast moving consumer goods company
- Computer Skills Desired: SAP experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
- Preferred Certifications: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), CPSM(Certified Professional in Supply Management) ideal
