Job Scope:
1. Support daily procurement operations:
- Assist in monitoring purchase requests and preparing RFQs to vendors.
- Help generate and follow up on purchase orders (POs) through SAP.
- Maintain and organize procurement documentation, including contracts and supplier records.
2. Vendor management assistance:
- Help create new vendor accounts in SAP.
- Assist in maintaining vendor communication for order fulfilment and delivery tracking.
3. Support contract and supplier negotiations:
- Assist in drafting basic procurement contracts and coordinating with legal teams to ensure all requirements are met.
- Help manage contracts for timely delivery, quality assurance, and payment terms.
4. Collaboration with internal teams:
- Work with the quality assurance (QA) department to handle supplier quality issues.
- Communicate effectively with global procurement, logistics, and other internal stakeholders.
5. Data collection and reporting:
- Assist in gathering procurement data, such as cost savings, lead times, and on-time delivery rates.
- Help prepare reports for monthly reviews and KPI monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Diploma and above, majoring in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- No work experience required, but relevant experience in procurement logistic, or supply chain operation is a plus.
- Have basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
Commitment Period: Full-time, able to commit 5 months and above (2025 Intake)
