Position Summary:

At managed.com, we're a remote-first, global team. We're also AI-first, so finding practical ways to use AI is part of every role here.

As the Procurement and Insurance Manager, you will own day-to-day procurement and insurance operations across a remote, multi-brand group. You will lead vendor renewals and commercial negotiations, manage insurance renewals and changes, maintain reliable records, and give Finance clear visibility into cost and risk.

What you’ll do:

  • Own one renewal calendar for vendor agreements and insurance policies, ensuring each renewal or expiry receives a timely decision
  • Lead vendor renewals and commercial negotiations, using usage, spend, and contract data to improve pricing, terms, and commitments
  • Review order forms, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and SLAs for commercial and risk terms, escalating matters to Legal or Security when needed
  • Manage insurance renewals, broker and carrier relationships, certificates, endorsements, and in-life policy changes
  • Confirm that insurance obligations in customer and vendor contracts are supported by existing coverage, and support acquisition-related insurance and contract review
  • Maintain accurate procurement and insurance records and report on renewals, negotiations, savings, costs, and coverage risks
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounting on purchasing controls, invoice questions, spend cards, billing reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Improve processes and documentation, using AI tools to organize information, prepare drafts, filter material, and compare alternatives
  • Support other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needs

About you:

  • Direct experience negotiating commercial agreements with vendors, with outcomes you can explain
  • Hands-on procurement experience running renewals, tracking notice periods and auto-renewals, and reviewing commercial agreements
  • Commercial insurance renewal experience is strongly preferred; candidates with strong procurement backgrounds and less insurance exposure will still be considered
  • Working knowledge of commercial insurance and the ability to read policy wording, certificates, endorsements, and renewal submissions
  • Advanced spreadsheet and analytical skills, including comparing costs, modeling deal structures, and tracking data across multiple entities
  • Experience using AI tools to organize information, prepare documents, support drafting, filter material, and compare alternatives
  • Ability to independently manage competing deadlines in a remote environment and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders across both North American Eastern Time (ET) and Central European Time (CET/CEST) zones
  • Persistent and credible with vendors, brokers, senior leaders, Legal, and Security, while knowing when to escalate risk.
  • Experience with liability or litigation-related insurance matters, technology or SaaS businesses, or multi-brand environments is an asset.
  • Communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English, with other languages considered an asset.

What we offer:

  • Remote-first work, with team members across many countries
  • Competitive pay, benchmarked against the markets we hire in
  • Room to grow, with real ownership of your work and support for professional development
  • Flexibility in how and when you work, within the core hours your team needs
  • Access to the AI tools you need to do your work, and the room to experiment with them
