RAKTDA is hiring for a Procurement Executive. The Procurement Executive at RAK Tourism Development Authority plays a pivotal role in supporting the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. This includes raising and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, assisting in RFP/RFQ processes, and maintaining procurement documentation. The role ensures timely acquisition of goods and services, contributes to cost optimization, and upholds compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Through effective vendor engagement and operational support, the Procurement Executive supports the delivery of efficient, transparent, and value driven procurement activities.
Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, RFQ/RFP administration, evaluation, and vendor selection.
Assist in preparing scopes of work, tender documentation, evaluation criteria, and procurement timelines.
Coordinate vendor communications throughout the sourcing and proposal stages.
Conduct market research and support the identification and shortlisting of qualified suppliers.
Prepare commercial comparisons, bid evaluations, and recommendation reports to support procurement decisions.
Assist in vendor negotiations relating to pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual requirements.
Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) within the ERP system.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, sourcing documentation, and procurement trackers.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support procurement activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of actions.
Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to facilitate contract finalization, compliance requirements, and payment processing.
Support procurement reporting, audits, and performance reviews while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with organizational policies, governance standards, and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
Certifications like Certified Purchasing and Procurement Professional (CPPP) or Certified International Procurement Professional will be an added advantage.
