Job Summary:
The Procurement Agent (Level 3) is responsible for managing the procurement process and sub contract management for complex and high-value contracts. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and specifications.
- Manage long term Major Sub Contracts, with complex scope of work and key stakeholder relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations,
- Problem solve issues which could significantly impact business risk and success.
- Ensuring leadership alignment in supplier strategy management of problem solving.
- Analyze procurement data and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior procurement staff.
Basic required qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Travelling :Successful candidate will need to travel to supplier site, in Farnborough, Hampshire. Expected to be an average of minimum of 1 day a week

Preferred qualifications/Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the organization (e.g., aerospace, manufacturing).
