Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Chain Operations Manager to join the Electrical Standards Operations Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st Shift.
We ensure stability in our supply chain to allow Boeing to build the most advanced commercial aircraft in the world. We build strong relationships with our world class suppliers to ensure quality parts arrive when we need them.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate Operations procurement agents in the project management, operational readiness and supplier administration
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
  • Manage, mentor and develop a team of Dual Role Procurement Agent/Supply Chain Analysts that oversee the performance of our supply chain for all of our commercial programs.
  • Ensure that our supply chain is positioned to support upcoming rate increases.
  • Support strategy definition and execution for our responsible commodities.
  • Collaborate respectfully with great communication and experience working across multi-disciplined teams.
  • Do Cool Things and Shape The Future of our Supply Chain Team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Engineering or Manufacturing
  • 1+ years of experience in a formal/informal leadership role
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally
  • Strong leadership skills that can align a team to a common goal for overall team success.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in a formal/informal leadership role
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and/or developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics
  • 3+ years of experience applying LEAN principles and/or Standard/Standardized work
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience utilizing standard project management tools
  • External Supply Chain Experience
  • Supply Chain Experience in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $114,750 - $155,250
