Procurement Administrator

Superb opportunity to join our Aerospace business in a varied and important role, with excellent development opportunities.

As a Procurement Administrator, you will support the procurement department by managing purchasing activities, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring efficient procurement operations. You will coordinate with suppliers, processing purchase orders, and assisting with vendor management to support our supply chain needs.

You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders promptly.
• Maintain procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, supplier information, and correspondence.
• Partner with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any order discrepancies.
• Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure delivery of goods and services.
• Support vendor onboarding and maintain supplier databases.
• Support procurement team with administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining procurement documentation, and updating procurement systems.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.
• Coordinate with finance and accounts payable teams to ensure accurate invoice processing and payment.
• Help prepare procurement-related documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
• Support procurement projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and terminology.
• 2 or more years experience working in manufacturing/production/logistics/engineering/construction or similar environments
