Primary Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Processing Manager the Process Engineer is responsible for development of advanced assembly processes for new projects.
- The Processor will develop a process based on customer requirements including system layout, cycle time study and process flow.
- Coordinate with Sales and Estimating Team to ensure accuracy of Processes and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programs to create Processes and supporting documents.
- Any other duties assigned by Manager as needed.
Requirements
Education/Skills Required:
- 5 + years of experience in Advanced Processing of automotive assembly machinery and tooling.
- Ability to calculate cycle time utilizing industry standard timing.
- Familiar with MIG weld and Spot weld process preferred.
- Ability to create system layout utilizing AutoCAD, preferred by not required.
- Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience in mechanical or machinery design preferred but not required.
