Responsibilities:
Continuous process technological optimization, development and planning of processes and plants in close collaboration with R&D and production
Execution of smaller investment & optimization projects in Evonik`s existing production plants in Asia Pacific South
Contribution in the optimization of existing production processes as part of continuous process development
Leading of process development projects with interdisciplinary teams
Development of innovative process technological concepts and methods for the production of specialty chemicals
Responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of experiments in the laboratory, pilot plant or production environment
Close cooperation with operational divisions, internal and external R&D organizations as well as equipment and plant manufacturers
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor or above degree in the field of process technology, chemical engineering or similar natural sciences
Ideally over 5 years of experience in the petrochemical/specialty chemical industries. Working experience on Jurong Island is a plus
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
Committed and loyal team member, which represents high self-motivation, flexibility and creativity
Interest in being part of a global expert group
Willingness for international business travel
