Baker Hughes Digital Technology team is looking for a Process and Solutions Architect having experience in implementation of Siemens Rulestream based applications, and in Business Process modelling, analysis, and architecture. As a Process and Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for enhancement and maintenance of business critical Rulestream based applications, and additionally, you will be responsible to create / modify existing DCM processes working with business and engineering stakeholders
As a Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Process Mapping methods and tools.
- Business process analysis, documentation of As-Is, propose better process, documentation of To-Be, oversight of solution implementation, Acceptance test etc.
- In-depth understanding of components of Rulestream Architect, Engineer, User manager, Web and service installation, MS SQL Database etc
- Hands-on with RS UI layouts, Controls, especially with VIA framework.
- Hands-on with RS Part families, Properties, Connections, subparts, and specs- DB, Word, Teamcenter, CAD etc.
- Having Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like Visual Basic, VB.NET, VBScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MSSQL etc.
- Defining rules and automation workflow within Rulestream.
- Having Hands-on experience of designing Processes and Steps for Rulestream user interaction and experience.
- Developing Deep understanding of Rulestream database schemas including the data structure, tables, and views.
- Developing Expertise in custom development and debugging leveraging Visual Studio IDE or similar IDEs.
- Developing Expertise in development of custom APIs (SOAP & REST)
- Having Ability in setting up CI/CD pipeline and reduce application development and release cycle time. Execute Unit, regression, and integration testing.
- Ability to package and deploy Rulestream Application on various environments.
- Running basic smoke and performance tests before releasing the application to end users.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders like engineers, project managers etc to gather requirements, document rules etc. • Creation and maintenance of training content

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any other related field.
- Have Considerable hands-on experience in implementing Rulestream based applications including integration of with multiple upstream and downstream tools and systems (CAD, CAE, Office, PLM, ERP etc.)
- Have Good understanding of latest Rulestream architecture, features and application interface framework, including Rulestream Visual Innovations Advanced (VIA) UI
- Have Ability to work independently on complex requirements with minimum support. • Experience of creating process maps – L1/L2/L3 with a robust understanding of ITO/OTR processes implemented in DCM and PLM systems. •
- Have Ability to understand and encode engineering knowledge into a rule-based automated solution.
- Have Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to seamlessly establish a digital thread across product value chain.
- Have Fundamental understanding of Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR), Configure to Order (CTO), Engineer to Order (ETO) process and engineering principles like Product Configurations, BOMs, Variants and Options etc
