This position is responsible for innovating electrolytic plating processes, including pre-treatment steps. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to resolve complex electrolytic plating technology, deploy process upgrades, strengthen process capability, adopt industry best practices, and evaluate new technologies to support operational excellence and technology advancement.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on engineering experience in semiconductor industry, advanced packaging technology, IC substrate industry and printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with new product development teams to accelerate new product launches, co-develop validation strategies, and innovate scalable processes that unlock the full value of newly developed technologies and solutions.

  • Support daily operations of the electrolytic plating pilot line, including execution of customer test runs, operation of analytical and metrology equipment, chemical management, and general facility and safety maintenance.

  • Drive pilot line production activities, such as chemical blending and packaging, raw material inventory control, plating, inspection activities, and analytical evaluations.

  • Develop and refine methodologies that enhance pilot line capability, improve throughput, and shorten the development cycle for new materials and processes.

  • Provide cross-functional support to application engineer, sales and marketing teams, including metrology alignment, data analysis, technical studies, and early-stage product evaluation.

  • Deliver on-site customer support as required, assisting with process troubleshooting, pilot trials, and technical engagements.

  • Support capital equipment projects, including evaluation, installation, qualification, and upgrades that strengthen pilot line capabilities.

  • Maintain and service pilot line equipment, ensuring proper upkeep, preventive maintenance, documentation, and timely escalation of issues to sustain operational readiness.

  • Experience applying DOE (design of experiment), Six Sigma, DMAIC, and structured problem‑solving methodologies.

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, or Minitab.

  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead projects from initiation through successful completion.

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

  • Effective time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
