Job Responsibilities:
Objective of position:
  • Develop maintenance processes and support troubleshooting for LMDD (Last Mile Delivery Device), LMDD Chase car and LMDD Teleoperations equipment
  • Oversee change management process and process standardization
  • Develop digital twin of LMDD and simulate scenarios for training, showcases and troubleshooting purposes
  • Implement continuous improvement program for City Delivery Operations and Vehicles/equipment

Responsibilities:
  • Refine inspection process for LMDD, LMDD Chase car and LMDD Teleoperations equipment prior to operation, providing auditable validation of pre-flight check to ensure vehicle is roadworthy
  • Develop preventative/mitigation measures to support diagnosed and undiagnosed issues on all equipment
  • Refine inspection process for LMDD, LMDD Chase car and LMDD Teleoperations equipment after operation, validating completion of the post-flight check
  • Support in-shift inspections as required
  • Develop change management system to facilitate adaptations to LMDD, AD and Teleoperations equipment
  • Develop method to standardize all existing processes and template for new processes
  • Optimize processes across entire organization
  • Develop digital twin of LMDD capable of being used to diagnose issues with vehicle in use
  • Work with AD team to develop visualization of upcoming maneuvers of the LMDD
  • Develop simulations of LMDD as needed
  • Develop continuous improvement program to make the site MAFACT ready
  • Coordinate and implement new ideas to support both site and vehicle continuous improvement
  • Develop method to relate continuous improvments to safety, quality, cost, timing and motivation KPIs
