Purpose of the role

To deliver HR services and support to Barclays colleagues, candidates, alumni and third-party vendors. 

Accountabilities

  • Delivery and execution of HR operational activities aligned with people leader and colleague journeys aligned with bank policies and regulations, including performance management, rewards, benefits and learning operations documentation, coordination, and administration.
  • On- and offboarding of new employees, (including orientation, documentation, coordination, exit interviews), knowledge transfer performance, rewards, learning operations and related administration.
  • Maintenance of colleague personal and reference data in relevant HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations, reporting and analytics.
  • Provision of guidance and support on candidate, colleague and alumni queries relating to HR policies, procedures, processes, or guidance.

  • Continually develop awareness of the underlying principles and concepts on which the work within the area of responsibility is based, building upon administrative / operational expertise.

  • Assess the validity and applicability of previous or similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances that are not covered by procedures.
  • Communicate sensitive or difficult information to customers in areas related specifically to customer advice or day to day administrative requirements.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders/ customers to identify and address their needs.

Join us as a "Process Expert" at Barclays, you’ll take responsibility for client service and operational execution task. You must take responsibility for controlling risk and enhancing controls in connection to your job and areas of responsibility in accordance with rules and regulations. You must follow well defined procedures that may require a range of job routines and make judgement based on practice and previous experience.
 

To be successful as a "Process Expert, you should have experience with:

Required Skills:

  • Strong calendar, meeting and stakeholder management skills supporting senior leaders.

  • Travel coordination and logistics management (domestic & international).

  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time‑management abilities.

  • High level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in MS Office / collaboration tools with attention to detail.
     

Additional Skills:

  • Tools which required to be excelled: Workday & Service now.

  • Use of Co-pilot and any other AI powered digital assistant experience/usage of the total. 

  • Good in Excel for data reporting.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role will be based out of Chennai.

Shift Timings Information in full sentence. Hybrid working. Min 3 days in office. Anchor days will be shared by the people leader.
