Job Details
Responsibilities:
  • Support senior consultants and stakeholders in creating process taxonomies and heatmaps of potential process improvement opportunities. Assist in building business cases for larger potential process opportunities; build business cases for smaller potential process opportunities.
  • Conduct assessments of existing processes using Lean Six Sigma and other data-driven approaches to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Facilitate in-person and/or virtual workshops for small-to-medium-size groups.
  • Develop and present actionable recommendations for process improvements and automation initiatives that align with business goals and drive savings. Automation framework is broad, encompassing intelligent automation, task automation, AI, and other emerging technologies. Actual technology implementation is performed by Cencora's IT team.
  • Assist teams in implementing approved process improvements and automation solutions, helping ensure a smooth transition and integration into existing workflows.
  • Measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements by tracking progress towards efficiency and effectiveness goals, including assisting teams in defining metrics and scorecards where needed.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather insights, share best practices, and support a culture of continuous improvement and automation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process improvement and automation, bringing innovative ideas to the organization.
  • Support Continuous Improvement culture initiatives within CBS centers. Assist in delivering Continuous Improvement training and other culture-building activities.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within first 12 months). Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Automation) is a plus.

Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, process consulting, or a related field, with demonstrated contributions to successful change initiatives. Experience working in a multi-regional or matrixed organization is a plus.

Skills and knoweledge:
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools and data analysis software.
  • Exposure to automation technologies is a plus.
  • Awareness of metrics and scorecards to drive operational performance is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and contribute to innovative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Business fluency in English
