Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure EHS compliance, safety culture, and 5S excellence in paint operations.
- Lead paint defect troubleshooting, RCA, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor paint line KPIs, quality performance, and process stability.
- Manage pretreatment (Zinc Phosphate) parameters, titration, and paint testing standards.
- Validate new paints, chemicals, surface treatments, and technologies.
- Conduct process audits, maintain documentation, and train operators on quality standards.
- Drive cost optimization, chemical optimization, and cycle-time improvement projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams for equipment performance, NPI support, and process efficiency.
Academic & Experience:
Diploma or B-Tech / BE (Mechanical / Chemical) experience of 5-10 years in areas : paint line operations / surface coating, automation-based spray powder coating painting line systems, manufacturing tools handling. Technical Areas: Knowledge of painting chemistry, surface preparation, and coating technologies. Shot blasting, Familiarity with electro-deposition (ED), powder coating, and topcoat processes.
