As a Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of

the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Commissioning, qualifying, and supporting assembly for SCBA products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scale up and qualify new products.
  • Leading continuous improvement projects in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Leading programs to improve product and process understanding (PPU) with emphasis on statistical techniques.
  • Determining and implementing capital improvement projects.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience working with Lean Manufacturing concepts/practices.
  • Demonstrated experience participating on cross functional teams.
  • Flexible to provide support across different shifts of manufacturing operations as needed.
  • Engineering co-op or inter experience.
  • Self-starter/self-directed that leads with high energy and passion.

Work location:

  • Monroe, NC
  • Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
  • Relocation: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 - $120,957, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
