The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting processes in our oil and gas operations. This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of process systems for oil and gas production, refining, and processing facilities.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Support the development and implementation of process control strategies to enhance operational performance.
- Participate in process hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure process designs meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams to resolve process-related issues.
- Prepare and review process engineering documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new facilities and process units.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Technical
Skills:
- Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, and HTRI.
- Understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Familiarity with process control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
- Knowledge of process safety management (PSM) and risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA).
- Experience with the design and optimization of separation processes, including distillation, absorption, and extraction.
- Knowledge of chemical reaction engineering and reactor design.
- Understanding of the design and operation of rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines).
- Proficiency in using engineering software tools such as MATLAB, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry.

Concept, FEED, Detail Design and EPC Project

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
