Process Engineer

Description

• Ensure that all related requirements regarding Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems are obeyed.

• The incumbent is the key contact and spokesperson for the plant in product process area.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain the Process Map, Control Plan, Flow Chart and PFMEA.

• Process onsite audit to insure the implementation.

• Retrain the supervisors and the operators as needed.

• Standardize the formula/routing to direct the operator to finish a batch. Identify the key materials and process as needed.

• Work with Technical, Production and other relative departments to optimize the formula and process.

• Continue improve operation process with Lean and Automation technology

• Define the manufacturing process and develop the Process Map, Control Plan, Flow Chart and PFMEA.

• Agree with the Technical Department on the proper QC testing for a specific product.

• Work with Technical Department to introduce the product to the Customer to assure the product produced meets the needs of the end user.

• Implement FLC process to insure the successful production of new/revised formulation/process using system of cross-department review/blessing.

• Source and introduce the new equipments to meet the product and process requirements.

• Ensure Product Stewardship requirements are followed.

• Work with Cell supervisor, technical and related department to define and solve the product and process problem.

• Record the problem solving in CAIR system timely.

Qualifications 

• Strong Communications skills with all levels of the plant, technical department, sales organization and the customers.

• Strong Analytical Skills .

• Build Respect .

• B.S. of chemical engineering or relevant major

• Good English communication skills;

• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Process Safety Management, Quality Management System.
