Job Description
Senior Process Engineer
Cyient Norway is part of Cyient, a large international engineering company, with more than 17 000 highly qualified employees, 42 of these located in Norway. Locally we are involved in a wide range of projects within hydrogen, carbon capture, LNG and oil & gas. We have a long tradition of making energy processes more efficient, and we feel that the green shift meets our expertise well. We are experiencing an increase in demand, and we therefore wish to strengthen the company with one or more skilled, experienced employees within process to our Lysaker office.
We are looking for candidates that have 5+ years of relevant experience, but strong candidates with shorter experience will also be considered.
Typical tasks will be:
- Process simulations (some experience in dynamic simulations is beneficial)
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Equipment sizing
- Preliminary and detailed process systems design
- Line sizing
- P&IDs, line lists and valve lists
- Data sheets (equipment, relief valves, actuated valves, instruments)
- ISO 10418 analysis
- Cause and effect diagrams
- Philosophies and reports
- Project work in multidiscipline teams
- Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews etc.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Process technology or similar
- Experience from engineering (hydrogen, carbon capture, LNG and/or oil & gas or other process industry)
- Experience with Unisim (or Aspentech Hysys) and Flarenet
- Good knowledge of relevant regulations including DNV and NORSOK, (preferred but not mandatory ?)
- It is required that the candidate has good collaboration and leadership skills and enjoys working in multicultural environment
- Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken. (moved as own bullet point)
