About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a highly motivated Process Engineer III to join our fast-growing Acquisitions and Integrations team. In this role, you'll use your technical skills and passion for innovation to support the integration of acquired companies through remediation of validation and verification activities to meet external regulations and Boston Scientific's standards, as required. This position involves cross-functional collaboration to design and commercialize advanced technology, supporting acquisitions and integrations across Boston Scientific’s global plant network.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assess process capabilities, prioritize process improvement opportunities, and implement process improvements
Lead and execute validation and process characterization activities (TMV, PC, OQ/PQ) to support production readiness and business objectives
Own/contribute to technical reports, validations, and qualifications
Act as Production & Process Controls (P&PC) Lead to define implementation strategies and supporting deliverables, including MVPs, PRAs, MIs, Integration PCAs, and training plans
Develop, review, and approve technical documentation, protocols, and reports to ensure compliance with the Boston Scientific Quality System and regulatory requirements
Prepare and present technical data and recommendations for technical and business reviews
Partner cross-functionally to develop design specifications, test methods, and material selection
Technical problem solving and risk identification in both planned and unplanned scenarios
Train, mentor, and support acquired‑entity employees and leadership in the adoption and effective use of Boston Scientific systems and procedures
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science discipline
Minimum of three (3) years of professional, engineering experience relevant to this role
Prior experience leading or owning projects, as well as tracking and reporting project deliverables
Demonstrated engineering fundamentals (LEAN , DFM, etc.) and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in a technically demanding environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 30%, domestic and international
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
Familiarity with business software systems, their interactions, and their requirements
Ability to operate comfortably in “the grey,” leading through ambiguity, biased toward listening to others to seek to understand first
Prior experience in medical device industry or similar highly-regulated industry
Prior experience supporting acquisitions and integrations
Demonstrated use of Design for Six Sigma tools (Design of Experiments, problem solving)
