What’s the Role?
As a Process Engineer you will work with business and project teams to identify areas where complex business processes and performance can be developed or improved. Leverage BPM techniques, concepts, and tools to proactively assist business managers in identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement. You will also get an opportunity to drive process transformation initiatives and also work with project managers to perform administrative tasks that include project estimation and planning, project budget expenditure.
Qualifications & Role Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years’ experience in handling portfolio of projects from a process improvement perspective and at least 3 years in a managerial role responsible for outcomes
- Define the scope and estimations for process initiatives
- Design and execute process improvement initiatives, taking responsibility for individual delivery in terms of quality, scope and time.
- Proactively engage with business on strategic initiatives which require process improvement
- Ability to build business case to demonstrate business value & calculate ROI for business stakeholders
- Define and analysis value chains (cross functional process mapping) and linking business strategy to process architecture
- Define the process end-to-end view (Operating model)
- Understand advanced process measurement (tying value chain processes to corporate performance metrics)
- Ability to design and develop process measurement analytics and collaborate on the construction of the analytics tools
Requirements
Mandatory Skills:
- You should have demonstrated proficiency in BPM and Change Management
- Demonstrated leadership on small-to-medium process and performance improvement engagements
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Business principles and relevant regulatory knowledge for banking
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable ROI
- Understanding of process and workflow streamlining, problem resolution, change management
- Develop mitigation strategies for cross-organizational impacts for process improvement projects
- Experience in BPM related tools including project planning and tracking
- exposure and understanding of RPA tools like Blue Prism/Pega/Microsoft Power Automate/Automation Anywhere and implementing the same for process automation
- Work with data architects to define dataflow, data transformation, interface needs and sources for all information
- Understand current and emerging technology landscape and how it can be used in the BPM context
- Understand all the regulatory and compliance drivers for the business within their customer domain.
- Experience in managing operational risk and implementing required risk controls
- hands on experience using Modelling tools EPC/BPMN/UML
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Primavera / Clarity/ Jira / Confluence is an added advantage
- Exposure to Banking & Financial services domain will be desirable
- Exposure to Azure cloud services
- LEAN/ SIX SIGMA - Yellow belt/ CBPP/ Business Analysis
