Why SENTINEL? The Sentinel Program is an enormous and highly complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire Minuteman III ICBM weapon system deployed over tens of thousands of square miles across five states. Without a doubt, Sentinel is one of the Department of Defense's (DoD's) most important acquisition efforts for the next decade, if not longer. It includes a complete refurbishment of hundreds of aging ICBM facilities to develop and deploy a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. The effort will also provide an entirely new command and control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. The program enjoys broad, bi-partisan support at the national level.
Tell me about this job. BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Branch Lead to manage/supervise the ISC personnel on the Sentinel Hub for Operation Performance (SHOP). This branch will consist of the Process & Control/Business Intelligence Sections. Candidate will manage and maintain a document control database, provide annual updates to current and establish new process assets. Candidate will also manage the Business Intelligence section to foster a more data rich environment and assist Directorate personnel to understand and quantify insights and decision to improve their work. This successful candidate will have strong leadership in program management and the ability to work with cross functional teams.
Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires U.S. citizenship status.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 10+ years direct program management experience; 8+ years with a master's degree.
• Experience in Lean, Agile, and/or continuous process improvement methods.
• Lead cross-functional teams collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve enterprise objectives.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance and all required Special Program accesses.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Exceptional communications and customer engagement skills.
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience.
• Understanding of project management best practices.
• Understanding of DoD/DOE acquisition and program management process.
• Defense Acquisitions University (DAU) training/equivalent experience.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115110 - $195660
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
