The Process Automation Project Manager (PM) role is a dynamic and impactful position that involves managing and planning business projects, allocating resources, forecasting revenue, and communicating effectively with customers. You will work closely with multi-functional teams, including developers, designers, and collaborators, to define project scope, develop project plans, and manage project timelines and budgets.

With a solid technical background, the PM will apply their expertise in specific tools, technologies, or processes to drive business process improvement. Problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and time management skills will be essential to the overall success of the team and projects.

This position will be critical in leading successful projects that drive lean business process improvement throughout Respiratory Health.

What you'll be doing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the strategic roadmap for the business, identifying and implementing projects and tools that optimize process automation or improvement.
  • Manage the project lifecycle from discovery to implementation, identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies, and managing change requests to ensure project goals are met within budget and timeline.
  • Recommend and prioritize work based on quality/compliance and risk considerations, customer experience, cost savings/avoidance, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to collaborators and leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are tracked and completed on time.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a technical field or with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and supporting process improvement projects or quality improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred experience with Lean Six Sigma and Project Management training.
  • Experience necessary in developing and impacting business processes through metrics and performance indicators.
  • • Preferred experience in the medical or healthcare industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Superb communication and team-building skills, with experience working effectively in multifunctional teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business processes and the ability to apply technology for process improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, recognize patterns, and conceptualize processes.
  • Focus on understanding customer needs and providing creative problem-solving solutions.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000.00 to $132,000.00 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location.
