Process Assistant Engineer is responsible for all equipment from new-transfer projects, process activities to assure new processes/projects is managed and controlled timely per schedule and highest quality standard. The role is included but are not limited to installation, repair, debug new testers, equipment and & test process support.
Job Description:
- In charge of new tooling/ equipment installation and operation: develop new tooling/ equipment, perform qualification process for new equipment
- Support ENG Lab: control engineering equipment, running product/ process testing as requirement.
- Support engineering on new project/product transfer: prototype development, verification testing, measurement data collecting.
- Support engineering on new project/product transfer documentation, line set up, process development and process validation.
- Support Nextern departments in debug and troubleshoot equipment and products if required.
- Provide ideas, inputs for Kaizen, improvement activities.
- Perform other assignments from direct supervisor.
Requirements
Knowledge, And Skills
- Able to read/ understand technical drawings / datasheet. CAD/CAM skill is plus
- Understand ISO system, especially ISO-13485 and 5S.
- Problem Solving - Able to identify problems and use Lean tool to solve the problem.
- Planning & Organization: Effective in allocating sufficient resources to meet project or assignment requirements; Adjusts priorities and timelines when appropriate.
- Teamwork – Able to work cross functions to support for assigned tasks.
- Attitude – pro-active thinking and self-learning skill
Qualification:
- University/College degree or higher in Engineering fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Industrial technology.
- Minimum one year working experience in manufacturing environment, medical device environment is a plus
- Computer skills: Microsoft office, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Able to use English written and speaking
- Skills: Testing, Analysis & Measurement Tools/Equipment.
