Job Description
The PRO FLEX Director is responsible for the leadership of activities and staff associated predominantly with responses to non-traditional request for proposals. Works independently to develop outlines, compliance matrices, proposal schedules, and provides leadership and direction to cross-functional teams assigned to work rapid response and non-traditional efforts. Ensures the response is compliant, compelling, and completed on schedule while working with the Capture Manager to ensure the opportunity strategies and solutions are reflected in the response. Ensures responses are complete and delivered to the Government customers within the prescribed times.
This role will also be a dedicated resource itself to serve as Proposal Manager on the most strategic responses within this category and provide surge support to our most strategic and/or classified proposals as needed. This lead role will also be responsible for building repositories of reusable materials and creating streamlined processes to suit a rapid response type environment. This role will be deeply involved in the adaption of AI tools and training.
As a Manager, this position will manage direct reports and be responsible for day-to-day Manager duties including leadership development and growth. In addition, this position will collaborate across the PRO leadership team for PRO future strategy and growth and will report directly to the VP of Proposal Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manages rapid response/non-traditional proposals involving the design, engineering, implementation, deployment, and sustainment of complex solutions across the Intelligence, Defense, and Civilian markets.
  • Develops all proposal development materials including but not limited to outline, compliance matrix, proposal templates, proposal management plan, and all other related items.
  • Analyzes requirements and develops or verifies Proposal compliance matrix and develops guidance and templates for all aspects of the response.
  • Reviews sections developed by members of proposal teams providing guidance, recommendations, and editing sections as appropriate.
  • Reviews and analyzes solicitation and related documents ensuring final proposal product is compliant and delivered on schedule.
  • Participates in peer reviews of proposal materials developed by other Proposal Managers for compliance and proposal readiness to submit.
  • Supports Vice President of Proposal Operations in building a repository for reusable artifacts and templates.
  • Guides and mentors Proposal Specialists.
  • Active member or lead for AI related technology changes within proposal processes and tools.
  • Research specialist or industry expert in commercial best practices also desired.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 8 years proposal management
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Adobe Acrobat skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Active security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • A proven interest in AI technology/tools
  • Experience in both Federal & Commercial type proposals

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
