Job Description
The Area Sales Manager oversees the Commercial Pro AV sales activities of a region to ensure set targets are achieved and the business grows remarkably. Supervises sales teams to direct their operations and supporting them through the process of target realization. Oversee the development of business plans and strategies by a sales department. The ideal candidate should live within the Central Region territory, Minneapolis, Chicago, St Louis, and Dallas. This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop and implement an area sales strategy.
- Utilization of sales tools to deliver an area sales strategy.
- Execute the profile and area sourcing strategy.
- Collaborate with Marketing to expand area presence.
- Teach and develop Sales methodology for a team.
- Build and improve the sales skills of the assigned sales team to achieve KPIs.
- Execute quarterly training curriculum for the assigned sales team.
- Provide input on Area deployment of the assigned sales team.
- Execute onboarding process for new sales team members.
- Execute corrective action process when required.
- Develop and provide input to the team through the Pulse process.
- Develop and implement an area sales strategy.
- Utilization of sales tools to deliver an area sales strategy.
- Execute the profile and Area sourcing strategy.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on sales KPIs.
- Collaborate with Marketing to expand Area presence.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 3+ years managing teams, preferably in multiple locations.
- 3+ years of proven sales success and B2B experience.
- Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office, internet navigation, CRM applications).

- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
- You are eligible to participate in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). This incentive is considered variable incentive pay. You can earn an annual sales incentive which is expressed as a percentage (53.85%) of your annual salary. This amount will be prorated based on your hire date. Attaining your sales targets will allow you to achieve 100% of your variable incentive pay. However, overdriving at those targets will enable you to increase your variable incentive pay for the SIP performance period.
