You'll play a vital role in our patient care journey, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible imaging services for their health needs.

Schedule/Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Wage: $30–40/hour, commensurate with experience

Requirements

What You'll Do

As a Radiologic Technologist at Boulder Surgery Center, you will:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic and intraoperative radiographic imaging.
  • Assist physicians during orthopedic surgical procedures using fluoroscopic imaging (C-arm).
  • Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and quality imaging.
  • Practice radiation safety and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiographic equipment.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and other clinical staff to support efficient patient care.
  • Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and answer questions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current  ARRT certification.
  • Colorado Radiation Safety certification.
  • BLS certification (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).
  • Knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, anatomy, and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic practice, ambulatory surgery center, operating room, or hospital surgical setting.
  • Experience operating C-arm fluoroscopy equipment.
  • Experience assisting physicians during surgical procedures.

Skills Required

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • Active ARRT registry
  • CPR certification within six months of hire and maintained thereafter
  • Successful completion of Radiation Safety standardized test (Colorado)
  • One year of Radiology Technologist experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
  • Proficiency operating radiographic equipment and performing imaging exams
  • Adherence to HIPAA, hand hygiene, and patient safety protocols
