Southern Health Partners is seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at the Marathon County Jail in Wisconsin.
This is a great opportunity for nurses who want to pick up additional shifts, maintain a flexible schedule, or work PRN while balancing other personal or professional commitments.
🩺 What You'll DoAs a PRN nurse, you will provide quality healthcare to patients within the correctional facility while working alongside an experienced healthcare team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing nursing care and treatment to patients
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Completing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
- Responding to urgent and routine healthcare needs
- Communicating patient needs with the healthcare team
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Supporting continuity of care within the facility
- Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in Wisconsin
- Current CPR certification
- Nursing experience preferred, but correctional healthcare experience is not required
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Must be able to successfully complete facility credentialing requirements
