Business Description:

Blackstone Private Wealth was established to answer the growing demand for Blackstone products from high-net worth investors. Partnering with many of the world’s largest private banks and wealth management firms as well as family offices, Blackstone’s Private Wealth team packages and delivers the full breadth of Blackstone’s alternative product capability to these firms and their clients and provides ongoing product and advisor support, as well as education and training around alternatives.  

Job Title: Blackstone Private Wealth – APAC Business Strategy and Strategic Development Vice President

Job Description:

Blackstone is seeking a highly motivated professional to support our APAC Private Wealth Business Strategy and Strategic Development team in expanding our analytics capabilities and executing growth initiatives in APAC. This role will partner across Private Wealth and Blackstone teams with responsibilities that include:

  • Support the global buildout of Private Wealth reporting and analytics across sales channels

  • Execute Private Wealth reporting and analytics functions while driving ongoing infrastructure development

  • Generate actionable business insights through in-depth analysis of key initiatives and present findings to stakeholders across Private Wealth

  • Help drive strategic and operational initiatives within Private Wealth that focus on new growth opportunities and process optimization, from initial assessment through recommendation / implementation

  • Research white space opportunities for business growth and expansion internationally, including new geographic markets and new business channels

  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with Private Wealth and BX teams on key regional initiatives

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, supporting their professional development, enhancing their technical skills, and helping them navigate day‑to‑day project execution.

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Strong academic record

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, financial services, wealth management, asset management or other related businesses

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Highly skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Knowledge and Proficiency across Tableau, Salesforce, Bloomberg

  • Highly motivated and driven with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
