Schroders in Switzerland is a renowned Financial Institution with around 400 employees located in Zurich and Geneva. The team
For our Sales Team we are looking for an experienced and agile Private Markets Client Director. The person will be part of Private Equity organization and work closely with the Swiss sales organization. As such the person will report to the Private Equity leadership as well as the Head of Switzerland.
What you'll do
- Drive our sales effort and strategy in Switzerland related to Private Markets Wealth Solutions across private asset categories (especially Private Equity)
- Close collaboration with all Swiss private market sales specialists and the entire Swiss client group
- Support formulating and executing a consistent business development strategy for Single and Multi Family Offices in Switzerland in line with all relevant internal stakeholders
- Develop and strengthen existing client relationships and establish new ones with a strong focus on new business development
- Significant contributor to our fund raising and revenue targets, in line with our strategic business plans (with a primary accountability for the Private Markets for Private Clients strategy and the Family Office business)
- Develop a client pipeline across our target clients/prospects in close collaboration with the client specialist and private market sales teams
- Close collaboration with the Private Equity Investment and Product Management team
- Close collaboration with all relevant product management and client servicing teams across our private markets platform
- Maintain and apply strong investment knowhow and competence on regulatory subjects
- Support and participate in client and training events
- High affinity for data-driven sales and able to embrace the power of data, leveraging the insights from our analytics team in London
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- 5+ years’ experience in selling investment products/solutions in private markets to sophisticated investors
- Master’s degree, CFA, CIIA or GAIA candidates preferred
- Fluent in German, French a strong plus; corporate language is English
- Deep knowledge in at least one private market capability (multi-private market experience is a plus) with a strong business development and sales track record within private markets
- Strong project management and business execution skills
- Established client and FO network is a strong plus
- Strong internal and external networker
- Significant awareness of competitor propositions and wider market trends
- Strong communication skills – ability to communicate verbally and in written form
