Position Summary
Brown Advisory is currently seeking a professional, creative and detail-oriented individual to fill a Private Equity Marketing Associate position in our Baltimore office. We are looking for a candidate with experience working on successful investor relations, marketing and communication campaigns within the alternative investment industry. This individual should be capable of working closely with multiple investment teams to identify opportunities for the investment products and strategies we offer, as well as planning, coordinating and executing the content for our internal teams, and speaking with prospective and current client investors.
Duties and responsibilities of this position include:
Assist in the development of the Private Equity Group’s marketing and communication strategy, including Internet presence, conferences, content and material production, and thought leadership
Partner with various investment teams to produce regular investment product factsheets, pitch books, offering materials, memos and other ad hoc marketing materials related to Brown Advisory’s private investment platform
Coordinate the monthly and quarterly reporting process to effectively create, update and share relevant content with investors
Support private investment content and materials generation, including leveraging databases and portfolio tools to extract relevant data points
Collaborate with private equity team members and other stakeholders to ensure the integrity and consistency of data reported across all materials
Ensure materials meet necessary compliance standards through proactive communication and partnership with our legal and compliance teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2 years of experience required, 4+ years of experience preferred
Experience within alternative investments required
Detail-oriented, highly responsive, with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to learn quickly and work independently, while also contributing to a team
Solid organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to work five days a week in our Baltimore office
Salary: $80-$115k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long-term incentive eligibility (if applicable).
