Job Information
This internship role is within the Manager Selection (Primaries) team, located in Switzerland (near Zurich). The team assesses and invests in private equity and venture capital funds across Europe. It focuses on small and mid-sized managers with strong ESG credentials and/or impact focus.
The Manager Selection team is offering an internship role to start in September for at least 4 months and lasting up to 6 months. The successful candidate will support the team with the following tasks:
- Prepare analysis of potential private equity fund investments and present findings to the broader team;
- Assist the team in due diligence activities via conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis on primary fund investment opportunities;
- Support maintenance and clean-up of internal databases ensuring data quality and accuracy;
- Perform market wide studies across various investment strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in economics, finance & banking, accounting or similar subject required;
- Professional experience / internship experience in a similar role is beneficial;
- Proficiency in Excel and very good financial modelling and analytical skills;
- Excellent English writing and communication skills;
- Self-starter personality with an international mindset;
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle large volume of work.
