J.P. Morgan Private Fund Services – Portfolio Administration (PFS – PA) provides outsourced portfolio administration and related services to institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments and foundations. The service helps clients reduce operational overhead while supporting portfolio-level and look-through reporting across private-market investments.
Through its technology and service model, PFS PA supports capital event and valuation processing and portfolio reporting services, to institutional investors and fund of PE funds investing in a portfolio of closed-ended, commitment-based funds.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and oversee EMEA client deliverables and reporting in accordance with agreed service-level documentation, ensuring a high standard of client service.
- Understand client relationships and expectations and ensure that deliverables are timely and accurate.
- Build strong relationships with Private Fund Services senior operations management globally, as well as with Product, Sales, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit and Operations Control Management.
- Take ownership of the timely resolution of client and investor queries.
- Apply and maintain internal controls, checklists and procedures showing an ability to Identify issues and escalate them to management promptly
- Support clients with special projects and requests.
- Coordinate and implement internal projects.
- Collaborate with the onboarding team in relation to new business.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in the alternatives business with a keen appreciation of providing best in class service to Clients.
- Ability to take responsibility for meeting client service levels, understand the control environment and recommend improvements where appropriate.
- Experience in private equity portfolio administration or a closely related operating environment.
- Knowledge of the MSCI Burgiss private equity platform suite is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Alteryx, with the ability to use Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools to support data analysis, workflow automation, reporting and process improvement.
- Proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight reporting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work effectively with other J.P. Morgan operational teams and provide clear, concise responses to client queries.
