Roblox is looking for an experienced Privacy Program Manager to join our Legal team!
This is a full-time position based in San Mateo, CA (hybrid structure with 3 days onsite per week) and will report to the Head of Privacy, Legal.
You will:
- Work with privacy counsel to develop and operationalize privacy controls to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, including with GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and other privacy laws;
- Manage complex privacy projects with tight timelines and work with internal stakeholders to establish roadmaps and communicate timelines and deliverables to internal stakeholders as needed;
- Support privacy product feature launch review process in close collaboration with product managers and the Trust by Design team;
- Track and oversee key projects, including the implementation of requirements from new state and international privacy regulations;
- Support privacy legal team for all audits (internal and third party), PIA/TIA/DPIA, DSAR response programs, and more;
- Assess vendor data privacy compliance in collaboration with the InfoSec team;
- Identify risks and dependencies associated with execution and deadlines; and
- Optimize internal tools and processes to increase team efficiency.
You have:
- 7+ years of experience in a role related to cross-functional project management;
- A strong understanding of business and technical requirements and obligations for privacy compliance and data protection;
- A track record of working with cross-functional teams and partners;
- Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Comfortability tackling complex matters involving multiple stakeholders;
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and workstreams; and
- The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly in plain language.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$157,580—$193,040 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
