Job Title: Print Production Associate
Job Summary:
The Print Production Associate at Mariner Institutional plays a vital role in supporting business operations by coordinating, producing, packaging, and shipping printed materials for clients and prospects. This position is responsible for all aspects of print production, including client reports, ad-hoc materials, presentations, RFPs, conference supplies, and other business needs. The role ensures the seamless management of print requests from intake to delivery, fosters clear communication with internal stakeholders, and guarantees that all materials are produced and delivered accurately and on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate print requests for client reports, ad-hoc materials, presentations, RFP responses, and other deliverables.
Review print requests to confirm production details, such as quantity, format, binding or finishing requirements, delivery schedules, recipient information, and shipping destinations.
Maintain regular communication with advisors and internal teams to clarify instructions, confirm deadlines, and provide status updates as needed.
Execute all aspects of printing, copying, binding, assembling, and quality control to ensure high standards of accuracy and presentation.
Manage multiple, time-sensitive requests by effectively prioritizing tasks and escalating issues relating to timing, materials, equipment, or shipping as necessary.
Monitor printer and copier performance; replenish paper and supplies, address basic equipment issues, and coordinate service technician visits when repairs or maintenance are required.
Prepare completed materials for shipment, including boxing, labeling, and organizing for pick-up.
Collaborate with shipping vendors and internal contacts to resolve issues with shipping delays, lost packages, tracking, address problems, and delivery concerns.
Maintain detailed and organized production records, shipping information, tracking data, and related documentation to ensure transparency of job status.
Ensure adequate inventory of office and print production supplies, placing orders for replacements as needed.
Keep the café area clean and well-stocked, including coffee, snack, and drink stations.
Administer office mail services by collecting, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, as well as preparing outgoing mail and packages for dispatch or courier pick-up.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience required.
Ability to work on-site and perform hands-on print production, packaging, and shipping tasks.
Proficiency with basic computer applications, email, printers/copiers, shipping systems, and standard office equipment.
A college degree is not required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Previous experience in print production, mailroom operations, shipping/receiving, office services, administrative support, or a client service environment preferred.
Familiarity with UPS, World Wide Express, or other shipping platforms is helpful but not required.
Experience with operating and maintaining printers/copiers or coordinating vendor service is a plus.
