The Role

The Principal Marketing Research Consultant is pivotal in steering our market research endeavors, expertly managing and executing detailed quantitative survey projects that inform strategic business decisions. This role is dedicated to dissecting intricate data sets, providing clients with clear, impactful insights that drive their success. Acting as a trusted advisor, the consultant works closely with clients to meticulously address their specific requirements and anticipate future needs. Additionally, this role is responsible for nurturing the professional development of junior researchers, creating a culture that prizes continuous learning and cutting-edge innovation, all of which are essential to our company's expansion and leadership in the market research field.

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)

  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of complex quantitative survey research projects.
  • Analyze and interpret quantitative survey data using advanced statistical techniques and software.
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, provide strategic insights, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Develop quantitative survey research proposals, including defining research objectives, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging methodologies, and best practices in quantitative survey research.
  • Contribute to business growth efforts, including developing new services and solutions, improving processes, and collaborating across business units within the company.

The consultant excels in analyzing complex data sets, delivering clear and influential findings that enhance client success and satisfaction. A hallmark of success is the ability to act as a trusted advisor, proactively addressing client needs and fostering long-term relationships. Additionally, the consultant is adept at mentoring junior researchers, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning, which in turn supports the company's growth and industry leadership. Contributing to business development through collaborative efforts and staying abreast of market trends further define outstanding performance in this role.

The MUST Haves: (ex: job cannot be done without these skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Five or more (5+) years of supplier-side experience in marketing research.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex quantitative survey research studies from start to finish.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong client management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
  • Strong proficiency in GSuite/MS Office and ability to learn new data analysis tools.

The Nice to Haves: (preferred additional skills, education, experience, certifications, licenses)

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field preferred.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $103,000 to $115,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Prodege offers a comprehensive benefits package to US Full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and basic life insurance. Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees receive an option to purchase shares of Company stock commensurate with their position, which vests over four years.
